I’m not sure how relevant this is but it’s something that caught my eye on recent travels. This is a motorcycle cop in Damascus. It seems that they are at liberty to customise their look to a certain degree and this wild one has a leopard print saddle and fringing detail. Pretty cool, huh. I was advised not to photograph cops in Damascus so this picture was taken surreptitiously and unfortunately doesn’t reveal the campest pair of leather boots I’ve ever seen on an officer of the law. Maybe I’ve just not met enough policemen.
