Waiting for you to enjoy FRANCOIS BOVIER’s contribution on Len Lye painting, scratching, stencilling and even cutting holes in film, composing motion and colour to extraordinary effect:

Though best known internationally as a film-maker, Len Lye used many different forms of expression, including textiles, painting, drawing, static and kinetic sculpture. He was also a writer of poetry, fanciful letters, stories and utopian theoretical texts dealing with the relationship between art, individuality, and happiness.
Please have some!

STORM CAVE

AT THAT TIME THE SKY WAS SOLID WATER WITH A CAVE IN IT.
NOW THE THINGS THAT MADE THUNDER IN THE CAVE ARE GOING AWAY.
THE SKY GODDESS UP BY THE WHITE THINGS WILL STAY. WHEN THE
OTHERS HAVE GONE SHE WILL TURN BLUE, THEN THE SKY WILL TURN
BLUE LIKE HER AND NOTHING WILL BE SEEN IN IT.

BUT WATER WILL COME UP INTO THE SKY AGAIN AND THE THUNDER
THINGS WILL COME BACK. THEN IN A CAVE OF LIGHT IN A SKY OF WATER
THE SKY GODDESS WILL CHANGE HER COLOUR FOR THEM TO SEE HER
AND THEY WILL START MAKING THUNDER.
